-
BE ON TIME TO WARM-UP! If no warm-up time and lanes are
specified be there 10 MINUTES PRIOR to the posted warm-up start
times per the meet information.
-
EVERYONE WARMS-UP! IF YOU DO NOT WARM-UP YOU DO NOT SWIM!
Warm-up is designed to warm-up your muscles, prevent injury and
prepare you to swim fast in your races. WARM-UP DOES NOT MAKE
YOU TOO TIRED TO RACE REGARDLESS OF YOUR AGE! You will
actually swim faster with a warm-up than without.
-
Everyone has a team cap on – NO EXCEPTIONS! If yours
breaks or you forget it, get another one from your coach and we
will charge the cost to your account.
-
You need to see your coach before and after you swim. Your
parent is not your coach and you can talk with them after you have
consulted with your coach. Sometimes your coach will have a
lot to say and other times it may just be “good job”
regardless it is important to talk with your coach after you race.
-
Wear team apparel and be proud of your team. T-shirts,
sweats etc. can be purchased from Stitchables from LeiAnne Koch at
stitchables@msn.com.
Parents support your team and wear team shirts so that people know
we are proud to be Redtails.
-
Parents encourage and support your kids do not COACH them.
Coaches will take care of stroke technique and race strategies.
-
Everyone plan to sit together as a team at the meet.
Parents who arrive first save seats for other people to join the
group. Coaches will post entries prior to the meet in News so
you can see who is attending and also check over your entries to
make sure they are correct.
